I spontaneously tried to eat vegan for the third day, and I was somewhat successful. Though I did eat some eggs at breakfast because there was no other protein source available where I was staying. I also have some Dollar Tree shopping to report.
I saw this monstrosity at Dollar Tree, and it turns out Banana Milk is a thing. Anything can be made into milk now. I wish I’d bought it because I may not find it again.
These are now my favorite cookies. You get ten 120-calorie packs for $1.25. Who can beat that?!
I found this great cereal at Dollar Tree. It’s vegan, and it has lots of protein and lots of nutritional things in it.
I’m guessing the Kinder’s Mains meals didn’t take off. I didn’t buy them, but I’m pretty sure they are vegan and could be mixed with plant-based protein.
Vegan Day 3 was sort of spontaneous. After three days of overeating meat, I felt like I needed a detox. I ate Plentifull cereal with oat milk, eggs (oops – not vegan, but I needed some protein), potatoes, M&Ms (oops, not vegan), mixed nuts, lots of fruit, persimmons, a peanut butter sandwich, a handful of chips, one small bag of cookies (not vegan), whole wheat toast, and stir fry. This was a fun stir fry: it was just veggies and rice, but I added lots of red pepper, oat milk, and salsa. It sounds gross, but it was flavorful, rich, and creamy.
That’s all for now.
